Sarah Suriano, Life Enrichment Director
Sarah has always been a caregiver at heart. One experience in particular shaped her calling: the ten years she spent as a companion to an exceptionally active older woman—supporting her through vibrant community involvement, declining health, and ultimately hospice care. Walking alongside her through every chapter remains one of the most meaningful experiences of Sarah’s life and shaped her belief that every person deserves to age with purpose, dignity, and connection. That understanding continues to guide her work today and fuels her passion for helping seniors live their best, most fulfilling lives.
As Life Enrichment Director at Daylesford Crossing, Sarah creates meaningful, resident‑centered programming that helps older adults stay engaged in the passions and interests that bring them joy. She loves getting to know each resident personally and tailoring the activity calendar to reflect who they are—their stories, their goals, and the things that make them light up. Her work is rooted in helping residents feel connected, inspired, and truly part of a community.
Compassion is the Solera core value that resonates most deeply with Sarah. She believes every resident carries a rich and intriguing life story, and understanding where each person comes from allows her to support them with empathy and respect. To her, compassion means recognizing the individuality of every resident and ensuring they have the opportunity to live fully and meaningfully at every stage.
Sarah brings 15 years of senior living experience and a lifelong commitment to holistic well‑being. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from West Chester University and has spent her career helping older adults pursue purpose, independence, and connection. Her background also includes 25 years of yoga practice—ten of them as a teacher—along with work as a birth doula supporting more than 50 families. As a homestead herbalist, she brings a deep appreciation for nature, wellness, and the healing power of community.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her two boys, practicing yoga, and tending to her garden. She shares her home with two cats, 30 chickens, and honey bees, and dreams of quiet weekends at a cabin on a lake. Her life is full, joyful, and rooted in the same values she brings to Daylesford Crossing every day.
